SOUL CARE SATURDAY: FELLOWSHIP, FOOD, AND FUN. The launch of Soul Care Saturday was memorable. It was truly a blessing to spend time with my sisters at church and my former co-workers some of whom I haven't seen in 13 years since I left Texas. We began with a prayer of gratitude, followed by a special mention of birthday celebrants (December, January, February), connecting and eating, and singing.

My husband did an incredible work in planning, designing, and executing the menu. The spread was scrumptious and beautifully presented. My friends brought delicious food and fine wine to share with everyone.

As I reflected on the outcome of the event, I realized how God has meticulously chosen who he wanted to bless in that moment in time. The invitation was sent to more than fifty friends and acquaintances and eight came to have fellowship, food, and fun.

Soul Care Saturday's launch is now a memory. It was an afternoon of celebrating birthdays, getting to know new people, eating good food, and having fun. The next Soul Care Saturday will unfold a new phase. It will be an afternoon of exploring creativity, cultivating genuine fellowship, deepening spiritual journey, and savoring culinary delights.
