AWAKEN AND RENEW
Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.
Psalm 37: 3-6 NLT

REFOCUS AND DELIGHT
AN AWAKENING AND THE JOURNEY TO TRANSFORMATION. In 2014, I was introduced to the Transformed Study at Saddleback Church, and it was a revelation. The study was so impactful that I immediately applied what I learned. Since then, I've included the curriculum in every small group I've hosted. To keep the insights fresh, I revisit the 7-week study annually with friends.
This year, I'm hosting an online biblical fellowship for women on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm Central Time, starting on May 7, 2025. If you're interested in joining this transformative study, feel free to email, text, or comment below.

Excited to learn more about the study? Join us for an engaging virtual info session on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 6:30 pm Central Time! Just let me know, and I'll be thrilled to send you the Zoom link.
TWEAK AND NOURISH
ALL ABOUT THE SAUCE: MISO GLAZE, CHIMICHURRI SAUCE, AND PEANUT SAUCE. Never underestimate how a good sauce can take a dish to the next level. Whether it's Sauteed King Oyster Mushrooms, Air-fried Tofu, or Raw Summer Rolls, even if they're a bit bland and low on salt, the right sauce can make them absolutely incredible! I can’t even begin to explain how mind-blowing my first bite of the King Oyster Mushroom with Miso glaze was – packed with umami and the texture was just like meat. All the credit goes to my amazing hubby!

CREATE AND EVOLVE
BATCH SEWING: TISSUE POUCHES AND BOOK SLEEVES. I really love cutting things—whether it's paper, hair, tree branches, or fabric. I cut paper for my handmade cards during chat and craft sessions. This month, two friends asked me for haircuts. I was thrilled it was for a bob style and not layers.
In my sewing studio, I've got a pegboard full of scissors. Any sewist will tell you that fabric scissors are sacred and should only touch fabric. When I'm in the mood to cut fabric, I usually go for batch sewing. A while back, I decided to make a bunch of tissue pouches and book sleeves all in one go.

ENLIGHTEN AND IGNITE
REPURPOSE PROJECT: OLD SHIRTS ON BOOK SLEEVES. Sometimes, when I need extra padding along with interfacing for quilted projects, I just use old clothes. For these book sleeves, I used some old shirts.

The food looks amazing! I wish I could taste it! You are blessed to have Raymond cook so many wonderful dishes for you!
Also, the book sleeves and the tissue holders are a great idea! You are so creative!
