refocus and delight

TO-DO LIST. I used to make a list of things to do every day. It gives me great pleasure if I accomplish most or all the tasks on the list. This behavior and perception lasted for a long time until last month when I realized I was asking the wrong question. I used to ask myself how many items on the list I crossed off. Was I productive? I defined my productivity with the number of tasks I have accomplished.

While attending a church meeting a few weeks ago, our pastor mentioned this reminder from an anonymous source, "I'll do my best with what I have for Jesus today". Now, I ask myself a different question: What did I do for God's glory today?
