enlighten and ignite

REPURPOSE: REFRIGERATOR SHELVES TO GARAGE SHELVES. When our refrigerator stopped working over a year ago, I wondered what happens when it gets disposed somewhere in a landfill. The upcycler in me was compelled to remove all the shelves and wire bins inside the fridge before it was hauled for disposal.

The day came when I was ready to install the shelves in the garage. As I tried to latch the hook of the shelf to the wall bracket, it wouldn't stay on. I was so disappointed. I thought it was going to work. It took a while of maneuvering before seeking the assistance of my trusted consultant-my dear husband! I know that he'll come up with a brilliant solution. And he did without fail!
