ONE FINE SUNDAY AFTERNOON: A CREATIVE REST. I am grateful for my Sabbath day. I am grateful that I get to do the activities I enjoy and stretch my creativity. I am grateful that I have the mindset to be intentional in achieving margin and meditating on God's goodness while being in a blissful and inspired state of well being. Life has been hectic lately. I was faced with deadlines, school assignments, coaching sessions, meetings, and house work. I also noticed the gradual weight gain. Bursts of emotional eating would just happen when I want to stay awake while reading chapter after chapter in my textbooks. After a week of mixed setbacks and comebacks, I was ready for Sunday afternoon. My craft and chat day- a time of creative rest. A time for conversations about God's goodness. A time for pause. A time to embrace serenity, to fully experience peace that passes all understanding. Friends have joined me in my craft sessions. At times, it's just me crafting, listening, and learning from pastors preaching God's Word.
I am grateful for my creative space. I am grateful for technology. I am grateful for friends. I am grateful for Sunday sermons. I am most grateful to the Holy Spirit who guides me to see, hear, think, feel, and act differently.

Grateful for our many blessings 🌸🫶
