A FRIEND'S REQUEST: UPCYLE FABRIC TO ZIPPER POUCHES. Remember this fabric from my previous blog post? I was able to make 2 more pouches from the remaining fabric. I asked my friend what type of pouch she wanted me to make for her. She sent a photo of a cosmetic pouch she found on Instagram. Wow--- it has compartments! I haven't attempted to make something that looks complex. I wondered if I'll be able to replicate it. After watching YouTube tutorials and sewing a sample pouch, I finally had the confidence to cut and sew the fabric.
