A DRESS AND A PURSE. It's been a while since I have sewn girl's dresses. Years ago, while watching Nancy Zieman's "Sewing with Nancy" TV show on PBS, I learned about the Little Dresses for Africa campaign. I was inspired to sew the dresses and hoped that someday I can donate those dresses.

That someday will hopefully be happening soon as I launch my shop. For every purchase, a dress/blanket/comfort bag will be given to a vulnerable child (orphan/foster child). Thank you in advance for checking out a preview of my Shop.

STRAWBERRIES. When I saw this fabric months ago, I felt drawn to it and thought that it would be perfect for a little girl's dress. I normally save the cutout from the armhole and use it as a pocket (see other photo). This time, I added it as a pocket for a matching purse and as a pop of design. The purse material is soft and suitable for a little girl.
