enlighten and ignite

The life of a dish sponge. I really do ponder and ask myself before I throw things away,"Is there another use for this?"With a dish sponge, I use it first for dishes and pots/pans that can't be washed in the dishwasher. When I'm ready to throw it away, I use it to clean the counter and sink. Before I learned about the third use, I automatically discard it after cleaning the sink. Here is the third use...to retain water when placed in a plant pot. I got to use it when I replanted basil onto a bigger pot.
