enlighten and ignite


Last week's bible study menu: TURKEY MEATBALLS with TERIYAKI GLAZE, SALAD with ASIAN DRESSING, and EDAMAME. For the turkey meatballs, I added Panko, ginger powder, garlic powder, egg, soy sauce, green onions, salt and pepper. The glaze is made up of Mirin, Sake, ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, and dash of sugar. Serve on a long, narrow platter with toothpicks, sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds and Nori strips. The green salad is simple with only 3 ingredients: strips of green leaf lettuce, shredded carrots, and cilantro. The Asian dressing is a mixture of vegan mayo and sesame ginger dressing. I usually have a bowl of ice for the dressing bottle to keep it from spoilage.
