create and evolve

As a minimalist with limited closet space, I routinely assess the clothes I have and ask myself if it "sparks joy". If it doesn't, I give it away. There was one instance when I decided to upcycle. I had 2 sets of satin pajamas (remember those?), one red and one black. I gave away the black set and red bottoms but kept the red top. I cut up the sleeves, removed the buttons, and serged all the way. I ended up serging more than I was supposed to so I had to come up with a more appealing style. So I put a tie at the back. There was still one thing left to do: cover up the snags at the front. Here goes...
