refocus and delight

I am starting this new section of my blog to collate the resources I have shared with friends and family who want to grow spiritually and become closer to God.

As Pastor Rick Warren wrote in his book, The Purpose Driven Life:

Spiritual growth is not automatic. It takes an intentional commitment. You must want to grow, make an effort to grow, and persist in growing. Discipleship- the process of becoming like Christ- always begins with a decision.

When you have made a decision, the next step is to get a bible, an actual book or an app. Choose a bible of your preferred version. I like the NLT version and I use the YouVersion Bible App. My favorite feature of the YouVersion app is VIDEOS. Be sure to check it out!
