A HEALTHY SNACK: AIR FRIED SWEET POTATO FRIES. I love to snack at any time of the day, especially when I'm sitting on the couch watching a Hallmark movie, which is a rare occurrence because I can't sit still. The only time I sit on the couch is when I'm watching a movie or an interesting show on TV with my husband. He loves snacking, too. With him, it's a spread of cheese and crackers, plus wine.


For Lent, I made it a conscious decision to give up chips for snacks and try to come up with healthier snacks. I started with Air-fried Sweet Potatoes with Garam Masala. It is so simple and easy to make: cut up the sweet potatoes, coat with olive oil and garam masala, and bake at 375 F for 15 minutes. If you want it crunchy, add another 5 minutes.
