MUHAMMARA (RED PEPPER AND WALNUT SPREAD). One day last week, I felt I needed to make a dip/spread other than Hummus and Baba Ghanoush. I came across the recipe for Muhammara and was delighted to learn I had all the ingredients in the pantry---Aleppo pepper, Pomegranate Molasses, Roasted Red Peppers, etc. I immediately pulled out my food processor and pulsed the ingredients. I tweaked the recipe a bit and used half of the olive oil (I'm trying to use less oil as possible). And oh, it did not disappoint. I don't remember the last time a dish made my taste buds sing. For every bite I uttered, "Wow, this is so good".
