BREAKFAST AND THE RING MOLD. I can remember the moment I became fascinated with food presentation. It all began when I started watching Japanese cooking shows such as Bento Expo and Dining with the Chef. As I became creative with food preparation, I learned to appreciate and savor every bite even with less salt and no sugar added.
In my quest to break the routine of a boring oatmeal breakfast, I try to incorporate whole grain bread, sweet potato, eggs, and avocado. The question on how I can make these foods appealing kept popping in my mind until I came across the ring mold in one of our kitchen drawers. It has become my favorite kitchen tool.
