DIVINE DESSERTS: UBE MILLE CREPE CAKE AND BANANA PUDDING. While on vacation in Canada to be with family, my husband prepared these desserts for the first time. Anything with ube is a hit with our family. It's also a guarantee that during our stay there we will be eating an Ube Pandan cake.

It was at the Magnolia Bakery in Abu Dhabi where we first tasted the most delicious banana pudding ever. The taste was unforgettable! It wasn't until 2019 while living in Los Angeles that we had another bite of this delicious dessert. Then came August 2021. My husband decided to make it after seeing the recipe from the Magnolia Bakery Cookbook. My seventeen year-old nephew, Jamie, loved it so much that he made it, too.
