THE FRENCH BOULE AND THE YUMMY SNACK. It's such a delight when my husband bakes a French Boule. It becomes a guarantee that I can make one of my favorite snacks any time. I'm talking about an open-faced Caprese sandwich.
First, I drizzle a slice with olive oil and a dash of garlic powder. Then, I layer with mozzarella cheese and tomatoes before toasting in the oven. After the cheese melts, I transfer to a plate and top with basil and balsamic vinegar. Oh so gooey and crunchy!
