TRIO OF TACOS. My husband and I love to eat tacos. We had fun discovering delicious tacos in Downtown LA, from the taco stalls at Grand Central Market to Tacos 1986. My first taste of the mushroom tacos at Tacos 1986 was unforgettable. From that time on, I always request for mushroom tacos whenever my husband makes meat tacos.


Before he cooks the fillings, he prepares a special spice mix that includes cumin, coriander, oregano, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. He uses this blend on beef, chicken, pork, fish, and mushrooms. The tacos are topped with homemade pico de gallo, homemade guacamole, salsa, caramelized onions, sauteed bell peppers, and fresh cilantro.
