LEVEL UP: RICE WITH SEAWEED AND CARROTS. As I try to come up with ideas to elevate my home cooked dishes, I always try to think that it only takes one ingredient to make a dish interesting and delicious. The Baked Sesame Salmon on a bed of steamed rice with shredded carrots and crushed seaweed I cooked last week was a delight. I marinated the salmon with sesame dressing overnight inside the fridge and cooked it in the oven for 30 minutes at 375 F. While the salmon was cooking, I prepared a rice side dish with shredded carrots and crushed seaweed sheets by mixing it all together.
