THE REAL DEAL: MASTERING PIZZA. My quest to eat healthier versions of my favorite dishes took a backseat this past weekend. My husband experimented on pizza dough. I attempted to make it a little bit healthier by suggesting adding flaxseed to the dough. It was met with a resounding "NO". LOL! Whenever I suggest adding healthier ingredients, he would always say, "it will ruin the taste".
I ate pizza for 3 days over the weekend. On the third day, before I took a bite of a breakfast pizza, I told him that I feel bad eating pizza again. He told me it could be my cheat day. I've been cheating for 3 days because I couldn't resist being a tester and taster. If I have to rationalize my eating habit during those three days, I can say that I had a good dose of spinach, mushrooms, and artichokes.












Any pizza with mushrooms artichokes and spinach is healthy!
