A NEW IDEA FOR ENERGY BITES: TOASTED MUESLI. My energy bites are constantly evolving. I don't use the same ingredients every time I make it. While craving for something sweet, I initially thought of grabbing a Magnum bar in the freezer. I stopped on my tracks and was reminded that the stash of frozen treats are for friends who visit. The need for something sweet ignited an idea to make energy bites using Muesli. I immediately got to work and toasted the muesli on a baking dish. Once it cooled, I transferred the toasted cereal in a food processor and added the following ingredients: unsweetened coconut flakes, sliced dates (easier to mix), dark chocolate, dried cranberries, dried cherries, peanut butter, and coconut oil.
